Key contract with leading Japanese utility confirms success of Alstom’s wind technology in Japan
Alstom has been appointed by The Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) as the exclusive supplier for the new Higashi Izu wind farm in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, representing Alstom’s first contract in the Japanese wind power market since acquiring Ecotècnia* in October 2007. This adds to the four wind farms using Alstom’s technology already in operation in Japan.
Alstom Ecotècnia to install 38 MW wind farm in Spain in €40 million contract
Alstom Ecotècnia, Alstom's wind power business unit, today announced the signing of a contract with Spanish renewable energy group Elecdey for the installation of a new wind farm in southern Spain.
