Alstom has addressed all these issues.
The result is the compact GT24 (60 Hz) and GT26 (50 Hz) with its unique sequential combustion, a solution that lowers the kilowatt hour cost without reducing availability by raising the efficiency close to 60% in combined-cycle operation.
