With this high operational flexibility and its rugged design, the GT11N2 is suited to a variety of applications, ranging from simple cycle peaker operation, through industrial co-generation applications, to combined cycle power generation.
The GT11N2 comes with three types of combustor to burn a wide range of fuels, from fuel oil to blast furnace gases with a low heating value.

Since its introduction in 1989, the heavy-duty GT11N series has established itself as one of the most reliable gas turbines in its class.
The fleet has a proven record of high reliability and availability with more than one million fired hours in ambient conditions from - 40°C to + 50°C.
