Alstom wins €90 million power plant control system order in South Africa
22 Feb 2010Alstom, a leader in integrated energy management solutions for power plants, has won a contract worth €90 million for the automation of Eskom’s latest thermal power plant project, Kusile. Alstom Power will engineer, supply and install its latest ALSPA® Series 6 Distributed Control System (DCS).

Alstom and Schneider Electric launch a venture capital fund in innovative technologies for energy and the environment
14 Jan 2010Alstom and Schneider Electric are joining forces to launch a new venture capital fund to finance innovative start-ups in the fields of energy and the environment. This is the first time worldwide that two major industrial groups are associated in a joint initiative of this nature, which, in addition, remains open to the participation of other potential partners.
